Academy Women ~ Leadership and Professional Development
AcademyWomen is a 501c3 nonprofit leadership and professional development organization which supports all current, former and future women military officers to achieve their highest potential as leaders. Our 3000+ members include astronauts, scientists, fighter pilots, engineers, doctors, combat leaders, ship commanding officers, business executives, diplomats, entrepreneurs, civic leaders and homemakers.
AcademyWomen hosts The annual Leadership Symposium, Career Coaching Workshop and eMentor Leadership Program which are core programs in support of military women, veterans and military families. Over the years, AcademyWomen has built and perfected, scaled and expanded programs like the eMentor Program, to now also serve uniformed men, enlisted servicewomen/veterans, military spouses and our nation’s future leaders. In 2012 and 2013 respectively, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, AcademyWomen launched their newest programs, the Military Spouse eMentor Leadership Program and the Veteran eMentor Leadership Program.

eMentor is an award winning online mentoring program that has served 7,000+ women officers, veterans, cadets, midshipmen and military spouses in mentoring relationships. eMentor uses mentoring to bridge the divide between geographically dispersed and underserved communities so that protégés are better equipped with the skills and resources critical for personal and professional development.
Women in Transition Career Coaching Workshop and Job Fair

200+ transitioning women officers, women veterans and senior enlisted women are anticipated to attend this one-day event. This day is devoted to providing a job fair, professional development workshops, discussions and resources to assist military women in making successful career transitions. We invite top-caliber, military friendly organizations to network with attendees seeking employment and career transition information.
