She is the founder of the premiere advocacy organization for the continuation of Gullah/Geechee culture, the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition.
Senator Donzella James
Senator Donzella James represents Metropolitan Atlanta’s 35th District of Georgia.
Senator Donzella James is a member of the Economic Development, Education and Youth, Special Judiciary, and State and Local Governmental Operations committees. Senator James has worked to bring progressive change in the areas of economic development, a safe and clean environment, drug trafficking laws, crime reduction, stronger drunk driving laws and increased access to affordable healthcare and quality education. Senator Donzella James was the 1999 recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Fellowship at the National Center for Policy Alternatives. She has traveled the world as an Ambassador for Peace. Senator James has consulted directly with diplomats, kings, prime ministers and presidents of many nations. Throughout her tenure she has earned the distinguished reputation of being the voice of the voiceless.

Honorary Consul General Cynthia Lynn Blandford was appointed by Her Excellency, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President, the Republic of Liberia in March 2009 and Commissioned by His Excellency, M. Nathaniel Barnes, Ambassador, Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Washington, D.C. on August 31, 2009,Honorable Blandford is Liberia's first African American female Honorary Consul General.
An Atlanta businesswoman in her own right, Honorable Blandford is President and CEO of Global Strategies for Good, LLC, a resource development and relationship management firm specializing in international business-to-business matchmaking and travel and tourism.
Ms. Viola Llewellyn
Chief Operating Officer of Ovamba Solutions, Inc.
Ms. Llewellyn oversees strategy, daily operations, marketing and business development for Ovamba, a “peer-2-peer” technology platform that creates business loans and investments for the Sub-Saharan SME sector from the African Diaspora and global institutional investors.
She and her team also work closely with investors, diasporan leadership and African Civil Society Groups.
Her previous consulting roles have been in the health care, technology, media, education, security and communications fields.

Mr. Kumar has worked with every U.S. President since President Reagan in various positions. His expertise is in government relations; liaison; alliance building; crisis management; human resources; strategic planning and interpersonal skills.Mr. Kumar has left his voice print and thumb print in the halls of government agencies such as the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration. He has worked with the World Bank and many private organizations. He is the Managing Partner of Kumar & Talvadkar Associates, LLC.
Judge Angela T. Butts
Municipal court judge of the Recorder's Court of Dekalb County, Georgia (USA)
The Honorable Angela T. Butts was appointed to the Recorder’s Court of Dekalb County as an associate Judge in March 1997. She has presided over thousands of Bench Trials in one of the busiest courts in the State of Georgia. Judge Butts also sits by designation in Dekalb County State and Superior Courts. She presently serves on the Executive Committee of the Council of Municipal Court Judges as the Fourth District (Stone Mountain) representative; as a member of the Dekalb County Mental Health Task Force and the Advisory Board of the Dekalb County Task Force for Runaway, Homeless and Sexually Exploited Youth; and serves on the Academic Support Committee of Decatur High School.
