Dr. Brenda Morant is a social entrepreneur and a champion of using
innovative strategies and solutions to improve people's lives.
 
Women are one of the most influential economic forces in the world as workers, entrepreneurs, consumers, caregivers, innovators, and community builders. To expand that influence, women must have access to the tools, networks, research, leadership pathways, capital, and policy platforms needed to shape every sector where decisions are made. IWTT advances this work by connecting women’s leadership, evidence-based dialogue, strategic partnerships, and solutions-driven programming. When women are positioned to lead, the impact extends beyond individual advancement it strengthens families, communities, economies, and future generations.

Dr. Brenda Morant will serve as the Director of Equity Development for the
AFRICA 2-5-9 PROJECT INITIATIVE. Appointed by HRH Princess Dr.
Moradeun Ogunlana, Founder and CEO, African Women’s Health Project
International; Dr. Morant will lead the Foundation’s efforts to promote
gender equity and empowerment of women and girls in sub-Saharan
