FORMAL LAUNCHING OF THE ATLANTA METROPOLITAN INTERNATIONAL HUB

TO STRENGTHEN GLOBAL LINKAGES IN THE REGION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Clayton County) – The formal launching of the Atlanta Metropolitan International Hub (iHub) will take place on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (10 AM to 3 PM). The theme: Advancing Global Linkages – iHub in Collaboration with The International Monetary Fund.

The launch of the iHub is a first step towards reaching our mission, which is to promote tourism, cultural, educational and economic exchange through global linkages between enterprises, governments, academic institutions and the larger civic society. We are developing working relationships with Atlanta metro-area governmental, civic, and social organizations and have formed a collaborative partnership with The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to enhance this mission.

Our approach to strengthening metropolitan Atlanta’s international presence is to provide a physical and electronic platform that engenders comprehensive dialogue and action on common priorities between metropolitan Atlanta and the global community. We promote Metro Atlanta as being an economic powerhouse and one of the most dynamic regions to increase an organization’s visibility and global reach. We believe we can have significant impact increasing enterprises and international communities within the Hartsfield-Jackson-Atlanta International Airport‘s Aerotropolis.

The launch of iHub has attracted a diverse group of participants. We are honored to have as keynote speaker Mr. Ngueto Tiraina Yambaye, Executive Director, Africa Group II Constituency, at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Mr. Yambaye’s support has generated interest at the highest levels of international governments. His presence will bring high visibility to iHubAtlanta. Also Her Royal Highness Princess Moradeun Ogunlana (Nigeria) has confirmed her attendance and participation.
