PRESS RELEASE - International Women's Think Tank Proudly Celebrates Madam Owomugisha Blessing Immaculate for Her Appointment to the 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship


The International Women's Think Tank (IWTT) is delighted to announce the appointment of Madam Owomugisha Blessing Immaculate, IWTT's Honorary Ambassador to Uganda and an accomplished trade facilitation lawyer, to participate in the prestigious 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship in the United States of America. This distinguished recognition shines a spotlight on Madam Immaculate's exceptional leadership qualities, unwavering determination, and visionary approach, all of which the International Women's Think Tank proudly acknowledges.


The Mandela Washington Fellowship, a flagship program of the U.S. government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), selects emerging leaders from across Africa to undergo a six-week leadership training program at renowned U.S. universities. Following this intensive training, participants continue their leadership development through six months of mentorship engagements. Madam Immaculate's selection underscores her commitment to catalyzing positive change within her community and beyond.
